announces new automated
EMAIL LIST(S)!

The Captain has implemented an automated Email List system into the website!
There is a PUBLIC list and a MEMBERS ONLY list. The public list will offer information about the club such as public events, membership discounts & krewe news releases. The members only list will feature private and important announcements from the captain, event updates and information, deadlines and newsletters. Members can choose to receive emails from both lists is they like.

Subscription is automated and can be accessed via the new graphic on the home page. Just enter your email address, select the list(s) you are signing up for and wait for a confirmation email. When you receive the confirmation email, click on the link and you will be confirmed as a member of the list. That's it! -you will receive all messages that are sent out to the club for that list. You can unsubscribe at anytime.

We are excited to offer this new efficient way to communicate with the public,
our members and potential members!

A special cocktail created by Marvin Allen, a Mixologist at The Carousel Bar
in the Hotel Monteleone (and also a member of Shangri-La)
The rum that was used was donated by "Cruzan".

This is a delightful rum and the cocktail is great for any occasion!

"The Shangri-La Stroll Special"
Cruzan Orange Rum
Cruzan Coconut Rum
Cruzan Vanilla Rum
Cruzan Mango Rum
Orange Juice Pineapple Juice
Cranberry Juice Orgeat Syrup
   
Make a punch with equal parts of the fruit juices.
Add 1/4 part of the Orgeat Syrup.
Take a hurricane style glass and add
1/2oz of each rum and fill with punch mix
   
Put up your feet to relax or just continue to stroll down the street!
